Contributes to the business of Panasonic group companies worldwide through key corporate R&D projects.

Our History

PSL was first established in July 1990 as a division of Matsushita Asia Pacific (PA) (previously known as Asia Matsushita Electric Pte Ltd). Since 1st Apr 1996, PSL has become an independent research company which is directly under the Corporate R&D arm of Panasonic Corporation (Panasonic).

To conduct cutting edge R&D activities for the development of future generation of products in areas such as in Audio, Video, System LSI, Network, Wireless technologies and Mobile communications.

 

PSL Environmental Policy

In line with Panasonic’s policy, PSL is committed to continual improvement towards environmental protection while striving for customer satisfaction.

PSL shall:

· establish and maintain an environmental management system.

· comply with applicable environmental legislation, regulations and other requirements to which PSL subscribes.

· manage ozone depleting substances, hazardous materials and wastes effectively.

· protect safety and health of the employees, including the emergency preparatory response.

· use natural resources prudently and efficiently, particularly electrical and paper resources.

· educate, train and motivate employees to conduct activities in an environmentally responsible manner.
